Compute service

The OpenStack compute service (codenamed Nova) is responsible for the scheduling and self-service provisioning of compute resource.

The Nova service allows users to create virtual machines, in combination with the other OpenStack components.

The following section will detail some of the basic functions a user can perform using the Nova module.
